Cossey Web Solutions is a family business focused on providing first-class services at an affordable price. We are located in Hamburg, AR, but have clients spread across Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas.

Cecil Ray, with over 15 years of experience as a software engineer, has more than enough technical skill and expertise to provide first-class software, websites, and apps. With nearly 15 years of experience as a teacher and coach in public schools in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas, Cecil Ray also understands the unique challenges facing schools and educators. His shared experiences in education along with his technical expertise have helped produce some creative and highly effective solutions for educators.

Misty, with experience in both the banking and education industries, handles customer relations and design tasks with ease. With over 10 years of experience as a teacher and librarian in public schools in Arkansas and Texas, Misty also understands what works for educators and more importantly what does not.

AR Schools

Response to Intervention (RTI) plans are some of the most important work taking place in our schools right now. The results can be monumental, but the work is hard.

Two major challenges for these RTI plans are scheduling logistics and the lack of time. To say that educators' plates are already full is a huge understatement. There is already not enough time in the day for teachers and administrators to do everything they need to do. So, all the time educators spend on scheduling logistics is time not being spent on curriculum and instruction, where it is needed most.

The scheduling software schools use for their normal scheduling does not have the capability to change frequently. Those schedules are locked for a long period of time, usually nine weeks.

We want to help save time for teachers and administrators by handling the scheduling logistics involved with RTI. These schedules could and should change frequently, possibly on a daily basis. We also want to make it easier for schools to connect students, based on skill deficiencies, with the teacher best equipped to help with that particular skill.

So, we recently built an app to fill this logistical void in our schools. The app allows teachers and administrators to enter RTI schedules that can change frequently, even on a daily basis. It also allows them to match the students with the best teachers for a given skill.

Now, our partner schools can use the time saved on curriculum and instruction, where it is needed most.

High School Football Scoreboards

We are currently working on high school football scoreboard apps for both Arkansas and Louisiana. These live scoreboard web apps just went online in September 2021. Eventually, the apps will be available for iOS and Android as well.

Right now, they feature some of the most comprehensive, live scoreboards for both Arkansas High School Football and Louisiana High School Football. Eventually, the apps will also include team news, schedules, rosters, stats, and power rankings.

Youth Sports Registration

In the spring of 2021, we built an online registration site for a local youth baseball and softball league. The site included an online payment system through Stripe.

The leagues were able to customize their registration page and connect the online payments directly to their local bank account. Jersey numbers and sizes were handled through the site as well making ordering team uniforms a breeze. Next year, we hope to include a draft tool to help make drafting teams as easy as possible.

These sites are under renovation as they are moving to a new, upgraded server before the next season begins in the spring of 2022.
